WNBL to tip off at John Cain Arena

Get ready for an electrifying start to WNBL26 as the Southside Flyers face the UC Capitals at John Cain Arena.
The WNBL is kicking off its new chapter with a supersized season opener at John Cain Arena.
On Saturday 18 October, the Jayco Southside Melbourne Flyers will take on the University of Canberra Capitals, launching what promises to be the WNBL’s boldest season yet – with new energy and an enhanced game-day experience.
The season opener will feature some of Australia’s finest basketball talent, including legendary Opals star Cayla George (Southside) and the highly anticipated return of superstar Jade Melbourne (Capitals) following a standout season in the WNBA.
