Travers, Bannan find groove in Vegas

NBL stars Luke Travers and Josh Bannan made the most of their opportunities at the NBA Summer League on Monday, Australian time, performing strongly for their respective teams.

The 56th overall pick at the 2022 Draft, Travers is still looking to live his dream with the Cleveland Cavaliers, doing all he can to stand out. The Melbourne United gun had 10 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals against Milwaukee, in 20 minutes on court.

Brisbane Bullets youngster Josh Bannan worked out with several teams in the lead-up to the Draft, and despite being overlooked, is still on the radars of NBA scouts. He finished with 8 points, 6 rebounds and an assist in the Los Angeles Clippers' win over Brooklyn, playing 17 minutes.

Several NBL-rostered players will be in action on Monday, with the likes of Joe Wieskamp and Tyler Robertson scheduled to play.
