Joe Wieskamp was perfect from the three-point-line in Monday's NBA Summer League action.

The South East Melbourne Phoenix will be hoping Joe Wieskamp can continue his sharpshooting ways into the NBL25 season, with their newest recruit stepping it up at Summer League on Monday.

Wieskamp went three-of-three from beyond the arc, along the way to 13 points on the night in Minnesota’s 15-point win over Orlando.

The 24-year-old has a reputation of being incredibly reliable from the three-point-line, shooting at more than 42 per cent in his most recent season at the Maine Celtics, and 52 per cent overall from the field.

He averaged 16.8 points and 6.5 rebounds a game this year in the G League.

Wieskamp looms as one of the keys to the Phoenix’s success in NBL25, alongside fellow star recruits Derrick Walton Jr, Nathan Sobey and Jordan Hunter.

The departure of Mitch Creek last week was a big blow to Mike Kelly’s off-season recruiting drive, with the search now on for a replacement power forward.
