Elijah Pepper put on another outstanding scoring display in the NBL1 over the weekend.
NBL players were showcasing their skills across the NBL1 this week, delivering standout performances for their respective teams.
Adelaide 36ers guard Isaac White was in sensational scoring form for the Rockingham Flames, dropping 24 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists in one outing, followed by an impressive 28 points, 4 rebounds, 9 assists, and 3 steals in another. Fellow 36er Matt Kenyon, of the Logan Thunder, put on a clinic with a massive 45 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals, then backed it up with a strong 33 points and 14 rebounds, including a red-hot 6-of-7 from beyond the arc.
Illawarra Hawks’ Todd Blanchfield was a dominant force for the Illawarra Hawks NBL1 team, erupting for 37 points, 15 rebounds, and 7 assists. His Hawks teammate, free agent Zac Triplett, also showcased his scoring prowess with 34 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals for Logan Thunder.
In the NBL1 South, Kilsyth Cobras' Dillon Stith (Cairns Taipans) delivered a double-double with 19 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists. Melbourne United's Tom Wilson, playing for the Melbourne Tigers, dished out 11 assists to go along with 25 points, 5 rebounds, and a steal, highlighting his playmaking abilities. Tanner Krebs, of Melbourne United and suiting up for the Ringwood Hawks, was a key contributor with 33 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists.
Perth Wildcats' Elijah Pepper, playing for the Warwick Senators, had a phenomenal weekend, tallying 24 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists, and 2 steals in his first game, before exploding for 48 points and 8 assists, including 10 three-pointers, in his second. His teammate Todd Withers also made significant contributions for the Senators with 34 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists in one game, and 24 points (6 three-pointers) in another.
Sydney Kings players were also active. Keli Leaupepe, for the Knox Raiders, had a massive 30 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals. Jaylin Galloway, of the Bankstown Bruins, showcased his all-around game with 25 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, and 4 steals in one performance.
Rounding out the impressive weekend for NBL talent, Brisbane Bullets' Samuel McDaniel, playing for the Brisbane Capitals, posted 29 points, 8 rebounds, and a steal in one game, followed by 28 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists in another.
