FIBA 3x3 World Cup: Australia's Day 1 results

The Gangarrus produced a mixed bag of results in the first day of action at the FIBA 3x3 World Cup in Mongolia.

It was a tough loss for Adam Forde’s men in the opening game against the number eight seeded Germany, falling 21-17. Dillon Stith was a standout with nine points, while Alex Higgins-Titsha provided some big highlights to chip in with five points.

There was limited time to regroup as the team faced the number one seeded Serbia shortly after. It was a Jonah Antonio masterclass that pulled off the almighty upset with a 21-17 win, as the sharpshooter hit a heavily contested game winner to get their tournament back on track.
