“To have all available tickets exhausted for the first night, despite it being between two interstate teams, is phenomenal."

All available tickets for the HoopsFest Championship Series re-match tonight have been exhausted, with tomorrow night’s encounter heading for a sell-out.

Melbourne is set to take on Tasmania to open the season, and will be followed by Perth and South East Melbourne on Friday night in front of a capacity crowd at RAC Arena.

“To have all available tickets exhausted for the first night, despite it being between two interstate teams in Melbourne and Tasmania, is phenomenal and highlights the overwhelming response we’ve had to the first ever HoopsFest event in Perth,” NBL CEO, David Stevenson said.

“It’s also really exciting to know tomorrow’s matchup between the Wildcats and Phoenix is looking like a sell-out. We look forward to experiencing the electric atmosphere that promises to be unlike anything we’ve ever seen before.”
