"Blackmores will help facilitate basketball coaching clinics around the country, making an ongoing positive impact in the community."

In yet another sign of the growing strength of the Hungry Jack’s National Basketball League, Blackmores has signed on as its Official Vitamin and Supplement Partner.

“This is Australia’s leading natural health company and the addition of Blackmores significantly strengthens the League’s portfolio of partners as we build towards the start of the season this month,” NBL’s Chief Executive Officer David Stevenson said.

“Blackmores is one of the country’s and Asia's biggest and most recognised brands and has been a leader for over 90 years, and we are delighted to have them on board.”

As part of the deal, Blackmores will feature across on-court branding and broadcast interaction, all with a primary focus of giving back to the community with a dedicated community engagement program.

“In conjunction with this partnership, Blackmores will help facilitate basketball coaching clinics around the country, making an ongoing positive impact in the community,” NBL Chief Partnership Officer, Lauren Hansen said.

“They'll also provide the communities who participate in the program basketballs and donations to support and encourage ongoing healthy lifestyles.”

Blackmores Group Chief Executive Officer, Alastair Symington, said: “Blackmores has a longstanding commitment to supporting healthy people and healthy communities. We are delighted to join forces with the NBL as its dedication to excellence, teamwork and empowering individuals to achieve their full potential aligns seamlessly with our own values.

“We are confident this will be the beginning of a positive, mutually beneficial partnership that enhances our commitment to the health and wellbeing of NBL fans, consumers, our employees and people everywhere.”

Blackmores’ multi-year sponsorship of the NBL includes employee engagement activities, community outreach and support, brand and customer leverage, retail partner activations; as well as collaboration with current and previous NBL athletes. Through these activities, Blackmores is determined to shepherd the masterbrand message, ‘Good Health Changes Everything’, while reaching a captive audience of 3.52 million men, women, families and children.

The 2023/24 Hungry Jack’s NBL Season begins on Thursday, September 28, when Melbourne United hosts the South East Melbourne Phoenix at a sold-out John Cain Arena.
