A King's farewell: Champion, MVP departs Sydney

The Sydney Kings have thanked Jaylen Adams for his three-year tenure at the club.
NBL22 MVP and Sydney Kings title-winner Jaylen Adams won't return for next season, with the club confirming his exit via social media.
Adams' best season with the Kings came in a Championship-winning year, when he picked up both MVP and All-NBL First Team honours.
He spent time in Serbia and China, before returning to Sydney for the NBL24 Season, where he picked up where he left off.
Across 80 appearances, Adams averaged 19.5 points, 5.8 assists and 4.1 rebounds a game.
“We have a lot of love for JA and are lucky to have had him in the purple and gold for three years - he will forever be remembered as a Kings champion,” Sydney CEO, Chris Pongrass said.
“The Kings organisation, our partners, members and fans, all thank JA for everything he has done for our club and wish him nothing but all the success at his next stop.”
Sydney's roster is all but finalised, with a star-studded starting five, consisting of Matthew Dellavedova, Kendric Davis, Bul Kuol, Xavier Cooks and Tim Soares.
They'll be desperate to bounce back after a disappointing Hungry Jack's NBL25 Season.
