The Tasmania JackJumpers could be set to rebound in a big way during the Hungry Jack’s NBL27 Season, after reportedly agreeing to terms with Taran Armstrong.
According to ESPN’s Olgun Uluc, the JackJumpers have agreed to terms, on a one-year deal, with Tasmania guard Armstrong for the 2026-27 campaign.
Currently playing with Dubai Basketball in the EuroLeague, Armstrong last lined up in the NBL with the Cairns Taipans during the 2024-25 season.
That was the second of two seasons he had in the League, where he produced averages of 12 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.6 assists across his 42 appearances.
Following that, the guard signed a two-way deal with the Golden State Warriors, where he went on to make 12 appearances for their G League affiliate, Santa Cruz.
This reported move will see Armstrong join Will Magnay, Josh Bannan, Nick Marshall, Sean Macdonald, Ben Ayre, Kobe Williamson and Archie Woodhill on Scott Roth’s side for next season.
