Shannon Scott will depart the Brisbane Bullets, despite having a year to run on his contract.

The Brisbane Bullets have parted ways with import Shannon Scott, the club has confirmed.

Scott was a strong contributor at the Cairns Taipans during the NBL23 season, but fell out of favour after his arrival at the Bullets, logging just 19 minutes a game with averages of 4.9 points and 3.3 assists.

"The Brisbane Bullets and import point guard Shannon Scott have mutually agreed to part ways ahead of the 2024/25 NBL Season," the club said in a statement on Wednesday.

"The Bullets wish Shannon all the best in his future endeavours."
