Hools is Hearing: Adelaide's next big move?

"I can confirm Adelaide has made enquiries regarding an MVP nomination and All-NBL First Team member."

The Adelaide 36ers are once again the headline act of the off-season, but this time for all the right reasons, as they continue building a championship-level team.

Hools is Hearing … after securing Bryce Cotton and reportedly adding Montrezl Harrell to their roster, the 36ers are shifting focus to their final import slot, with a few familiar names already in the mix.

I can confirm Adelaide has made enquiries regarding MVP nomination and All-NBL First Team member, Matt Hurt, in recent weeks, and plans to revisit that conversation soon to gauge his interest.

Hurt has reportedly been fielding some big offers and interest after his stellar season for the South East Melbourne Phoenix.

The price tag may be ambitious after signing two of the league’s biggest names, but the 36ers are determined to chase another star.

Another name on the whiteboard is Gary Clark, who finished up a strong season in the Japan B League, averaging over 15 points and seven rebounds a game.

Clark was an All-NBL First Teamer in his season at the Illawarra Hawks, and while he won’t come cheap, the 36ers won’t die wondering.
