51-point hero departs Bullets

James Batemon won't be a part of the Brisbane Bullets' roster for NBL26, the club has confirmed.

Batemon averaged 15.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 16 appearances last season, including an incredible 51-point haul against the Perth Wildcats in November.

He suffered a serious hamstring injury in December and missed the remainder of the Bullets' campaign.

Batemon has signed a deal in Spain.

"Loved the NBL and will be back for sure," he said on Friday.
