Australian Boomers champion Aron Baynes says he’ll “never say never” to a potential comeback.

Australian Boomers champion Aron Baynes hasn’t closed the door on a return to professional basketball, despite parting ways with the Brisbane Bullets at the end of NBL24.

The 37-year-old, who boasts 576 games’ NBA experience, says he’ll “never say never” to a potential comeback, but is firmly focused on spending time with his family and kids.

“My body’s good, I’m moving well, you know, I’m just at the point that, right now, I can do what I want, when I want, which is fun,” Baynes told Code Sports.

The 2014 NBA champion said he hadn’t made any decision on retiring and was still in the gym, staying “fit, healthy and active”.

Baynes played 47 NBL games across his two seasons at the Bullets, before opting to move on from the club.
