Mason Peatling

Turned himself into a crucial member of the starting five of the NBL25 championship team at the Illawarra Hawks and is back again for the title defence.

Having started his basketball at the Dandenong Rangers, spent four years at college at Eastern Washington University.

Was All-Big Sky Second Team in 2019, First Team in 2020 and a First Team Academic All American in 2020 along with being the Big Sky Player of the Year.

Joined Melbourne United as a development player and was part of the championship team in 2021 on his way to playing 87 matches there and then helping the Knox Raiders an NBL1 South and National Championship in 2023.

Joined Illawarra on the back of that but injury interrupted his NBL24 but he had a standout NBL25 as the starting power forward producing 4.8 points and 3.7 rebounds in 13 minutes a game.
