Jonah Antonio

The 28-year-old sharpshooter has proven he can score in bunches wherever he's played and after three seasons with the Cairns Taipans, joins the Illawarra Hawks

After growing up in Perth and coming through at the Warwick Senators, had a varied college career with stints at Mount Saint Mary's, South Plains College, University of Nevada Las Vegas and finally Wake Forest.

Started his professional career from there in the Czech Republic with BK Nova Hut Ostrava before joining the NBL for the first time at the Taipans for NBL23.

Spent the next three seasons with the Snakes and had his moments where he showed he could be a standout shooter and scorer, and he improved his ability to be a perimeter defender all the time.

Had some good moments back in the NBL1 West with the East Perth Eagles in 2025 and now joins the Hawks as an Injury Replacement Player.
