The busy off-season for Brian Goorjian’s reigning champions has continued with the reported signing of exciting young Australian guard Jayden Stone.
Both the Sydney Kings and ESPN's Olgun Uluc announced the news on Friday, pending NBL approval.
This move follows the Kings recently signing Championship Series MVP Kendric Davis, athletic wing Makuach Maluach and powerful big man Keli Leaupepe to new deals.
Tim Soares (Japan), Bul Kuol (Adelaide) and Hunter Goodrick (South East Melbourne) have all departed the club.
Perth talent Stone heads to the Harbour City after spending the past 10 years in the United States, including Sunrise Christian Academy and colleges Grand Canyon University, Detroit Mercy and Missouri.
Most recently with the Missouri Tigers, Stone averaged 13.5 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game across his 26 appearances.
Stone joins Davis, Xavier Cooks, Matthew Dellavedova, Jaylin Galloway, Makuach Maluach, Keli Leaupepe, Tyler Robertson and Jason Spurgin on the Kings’ Hungry Jack’s NBL27 roster.
