REPORT: Reyne drops in Cairns

The Cairns Taipans have reportedly locked in a key signing.
Emerging Australian talent Reyne Smith is set to sign a two-year deal with the Cairns Taipans, ESPN’s Olgun Uluc is reporting.
Smith, who represented Australia at under 17 and under 19 level and recently named as in the Boomers' FIBA Asia Cup squad, played his college basketball at Charleston before transferring to Louisville.
As a senior at Louisville, the 22-year-old guard posted 13.1 points per game while shooting 38 per cent from beyond the arc.
He recently dropped 17 points during a standout Summer League outing with the Denver Nuggets.
Originally from Tasmania, the 6’2” guard developed his game through Basketball Australia’s Centre of Excellence program.
