Import guard Jordon Crawford has joined the Tasmania JackJumpers on a one-year deal.

The Tasmania JackJumpers have wasted no time in bringing a new import guard into the fold and have signed 32-year-old American Jordon Crawford to a one-year deal.

Crawford will join the JackJumpers off the back of a career-best season in Turkey, where the 5’6” former G-Leaguer ended the season as the top scorer of the Turkish Basketball League.

Turning out for Istanbul-based side Buyukcekmece Crawford averaged 19.6 points, 5.6 assists and 1.7 steals per game in 29 appearances.

Over the course of his career Crawford has also played for the Westchester Knicks, Canton Charge and Memphis Hustle of the NBA G-League, and has spent time playing in North Macedonia, Germany, Puerto Rico and France.

The signing of Crawford comes just 24 hours after the JackJumpers confirmed the signing of fellow import and former Melbourne centre Marcus Lee for the upcoming season.

The JackJumpers import slots for next season are now set with Crawford, Lee, and the returning Milton Doyle.

The trio will join Jack McVeigh, Clint Steindl, Jarred Bairstow, Fabijan Krslovic and Will Magnay on the roster.

Sean Macdonald and Walter Brown currently hold development player positions with the club.
