Hools is Hearing ... Cavs circling Travers

With the NBA's Summer League well and truly underway, Hools is Hearing that Luke Travers' move to secure a deal with Cleveland is getting closer by the day.

Those conversations started in Las Vegas last year, after the 22-year-old was one of the best players on the Cavs' championship winning Summer League team.

Unfortunately, at the time, Cleveland had all four two-way spots filled, which meant he missed out.

But ... after a strong NBL campaign for Melbourne United, those conversations have escalated in recent weeks, with Travers arriving in Cleveland for camp. The current chatter around Summer League is pointing to a when, not if, he becomes a Cavalier. His performance against Milwaukee will only strengthen that case. 

The Cavs still have some moves to make on their main roster, which perhaps makes it a more interesting next step for Travers ... I wouldn’t write off a full roster spot for him this year either.
