Andrew Gaze says Kendric Davis produced “one of the all-time greatest performances” on Sunday for the Kings.

Both Sydney Kings coach Brian Goorjian and 1990 NBL MVP Derek Rucker have already raved Kendric Davis’ performance on Sunday as one of the best they’ve seen.

But now the GOAT himself has weighed in.

After a quiet Game 2, Davis responded to the tune of 34 points, 15 assists and 0 turnovers on Sunday, to help the Kings defeat the 36ers by 13.

In doing so, the American guard became the first player to ever record those stats in NBL history.

Andrew Gaze has praised the 26-year-old for his performance at Qudos Bank Arena.

“Kendric Davis, for all the antics that were [around the Series], and criticism he copped, put in one of the all-time greatest Grand Final performances I've ever seen,” Gaze said on SEN Radio.

“He had 34 points, 15 assists, and copped this, 0 turnovers.

“That [performance], in that set of circumstances [where] all eyes were on him, and under incredible pressure [he was under] was something special.”

Game 4 of the Championship Series tips off at 7.30pm AEDT on Wednesday at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, live on ESPN and 10 Drama in Sydney and Adelaide.
