Jaquori McLaughlin

The 27-year-old point guard joined the defending champion Illawarra Hawks for a trial at the NBL Blitz and sufficiently impressed to have now been signed for NBL26.

After growing up in Washington and attending Peninsula High School he started his college career with Oregon State for two years, and then finishing with three seasons at the University of California Santa Barbara.

That included 16.0 points and 5.2 assists as a senior when he was Big West Player of the Year before spending time in the 2021/22 NBA season with the Dallas Mavericks including hitting the court four times.

Also played with both the Texas Legends and Santa Cruz Warriors in that G League season and since had a stint in the NZ NBL at the Otago Nuggets and in Indonesia ahead of now playing in the NBL for the first time.
