David Okwera

Is coming into a third season with his hometown Perth Wildcats in the NBL on the back of playing in the NZ NBL for the first time at the Franklin Bulls.

The now 23-year-old who stands 6'10 was always an exciting talent growing up in Perth, but moved to Melbourne as a teenager and signed at United to begin his NBL career as a development player.

Played 36 games with United over the next two seasons including 4.2 points and 3.3 rebounds in over 14 minutes in NBL23.

First returned to his hometown Wildcats for NBL24 before a strong NBL1 West season with 14.8 points, 9.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists at the East Perth Eagles.

Then following NBL25, played in the NZ NBL with the Franklin Bulls for 10.7 points, 7.9 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.7 blocks and 1.3 steals ahead of NBL26.
