Players have had their say on the League’s most irritating player - and it won't surprise many.

The players have spoken, and outed the one who tries to get under the skins of his opponents the most.

In the CODE Sports NBL27 player survey, half of the respondents agreed the Taipans' Shaun Bruce wages psychological warfare on his opponents more than any other with 50 per cent voting him the game's "best sledger".

Despite not playing in the League for almost two decades, United recruit Joe Ingles was next with 18.5 per cent.

Bruce was also second on "the most irritating player to play against" with 21% of the vote, topped by Kings' Kendrick Davis on 25%.

It won't make pretty reading for Davis when he sees that 69% of his peers said Adelaide's Bryce Cotton deserved to win the MVP, with only 27.5% voting for the Kings' Champion, and just 4% saying it should have been a tie.

As far as rule changes go, more than 26 per cent said they'd like to see a four-point line, while an immediate back court inbound pass, player only time-outs and a three-second defensive rule also received some backing.
