Parker Jackson-Cartwright and Arnas Velicka are both out, leaving SuperCoaches a 93.6 point hole.

Parker Jackson-Cartwright ($405,200), now $468,300, is out. Arnas Velicka ($277,000), now $301,900, is out. That’s two of the SuperCoach NBL Star Guard Tracker’s best point scorers.

Jackson-Cartwright, averaging 53.4 SuperCoach NBL points per game, was a ride or die given the New Zealand Breakers have double-headers in Rounds 5, 7, 9 and 10. The Breakers said it was a lower leg injury, likely a calf, so expect minutes restrictions when the point guard returns.

Velicka is not expected back until after the FIBA Break (eight weeks) with a quad injury. He’s leading the League in assists, and while he’s struggling from the field, he’s still averaging 40.2 points per game. Between them, that’s a 93.6 points per round hole that SuperCoaches need to fill.

Enter Championship Series MVP Kendric Davis ($436,000), now $428,500. SuperCoaches will most certainly tap the trade button for the Sydney Kings’ NBL26 champion, as hard as he tapped the badge on his singlet after a minor dust-up with six-time MVP Bryce Cotton ($473,900), now $400,700, at the end of yesterday’s Sydney v Adelaide clash.

The Kings have three straight double-header rounds (5, 6 and 7), and he might have a little something for the Breakers and Perth, especially given Brandon Knight ($277,000) is now hooping for the Wildcats.
