Five-time Olympian and Australian Basketball icon Joe Ingles, is reportedly set to sign with Melbourne United for the Hungry Jack’s NBL27 Season.

ESPN’s Olgun Uluc has reported the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Bronze medallist will return to Australia to finalise a deal with the club after his NBA commitments.

The 12-year NBA veteran is currently playing in the NBA Playoffs with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Ingles, who won the 2007 NBL Rookie of the Year during his outstanding debut season for the South Dragons, had reportedly been weighing up a move to return home in recent months.

Following his time at the Dragons, Ingles forged out a successful European career, highlighted with his time at FC Barcelona, before signing with the Utah Jazz to begin his NBA stint.
