REPORT: New Zealand's big Breakthrough

ESPN's Olgun Uluc reports Parker Jackson-Cartwright has signed a new deal.
The New Zealand Breakers have reportedly made their biggest move so far under new ownership, locking in Parker Jackson-Cartwright on a new deal.
ESPN's Olgun Uluc reported Jackson-Cartwright had signed for a further two years with the club.
It’s been a point of emphasis for the Breakers in recent weeks that they were pulling out all stops in an effort to bring the star guard back, which is a significant boost to their hopes for the Hungry Jack's NBL26 Season.
Jackson-Cartwright has been nothing short of sensational across the last two seasons in the league, with an All-NBL selection and proving to be one of the most explosive players around. He has averaged almost 20 points and six assists in his 51 career games.
Locking in such a dynamic piece for multiple years would be a big coup for the new ownership and new direction of the Breakers.
Jackson-Cartwright would join Sam Mennenga, Carlin Davidson, Taylor Britt, Izayah Le'afa, Sean Bairstow, Karim Lopez, Max Darling, Reuben Te Rangi, Tacko Fall and Rob Loe as contracted players for NBL26.
