Talking points
Young stars rewarded
Brisbane Bullets emerging big man, Jacob Holt, will get his debut for Australia after a stellar rookie season in the NBL.
Holt became a consistent workhorse for a Bullets team which was decimated by injuries and needed any positive spotlight on a tough season.
Cairns Taipan sharpshooter Reyne Smith will pull on the green and gold once again, after helping Australia claim gold at the Asia Cup recently.
Veterans to lead from front
Nick Kay has been a steady figure throughout every FIBA window, helping provide stability and leadership as a veteran, with many young stars picked alongside him.
Joining him this week is Mitch Creek and Jack White, who have both represented their country at the highest level in the past and will provide a further boost in this window.
Coaching debut
Perth's John Rilllie will make is Australian Boomers head coaching debut, after numerous windows as an assistant.
But with him, as well as Elijah Pepper and David Okwera, away on national duties, how will it impact the Wildcats' post-season preparations?
Perth, who finished fourth, travel to John Cain Arena on Wednesday, March 4 for a Seeding Qualifier against South East Melbourne, which only gives the team a few days to prepare as one unit.
