The Tasmania JackJumpers will take on some of the world’s best clubs in the 2024 FIBA Intercontinental Cup, beginning Thursday September 12 live on ESPN.

The FIBA Intercontinental Cup is the annual worldwide club competition held in Singapore, where the champions from the BCL Europe, BCL Americas, BCL Asia, NBL, BAL and a representative from the NBA G-League compete for the global championship.

One team from each continent qualifies for the tournament, with the JackJumpers claiming their place after being crowned NBL champions last season – the first time an Australian team will compete in the FIBA Intercontinental Cup.

Unicaja Malaga (BCL Europe Champion), Quimsa (BCL Americas Champion), Petro De Luanda (BAL Champion), AL Riyadi (BCL Asia Champion) and NBA G-League United, join the NBL champions in the six-team tournament.

On Friday, September 13, Tasmania begins its campaign live on ESPN at 7pm AEST against Argentina’s Quimsa.

On Saturday, September 14, the JackJumpers take on the NBA G-League United, also live on ESPN at 3pm AEST.

The 2024 FIBA Intercontinental Cup concludes on Sunday September 15 with a massive triple-header of Finals action live on ESPN.

Tipping off at 3pm AEST the Classification Final begins proceedings before the 3rd Place Final follows at 6pm AEST.

The 2024 FIBA Intercontinental Cup concludes at 9pm AEST with the championship game.
