Tyrell Harrison produced another standout performance as the Brisbane Bullets beat Melbourne United on the Gold Coast.

Tyrell Harrison continues to show that he is ready to take the next leap into the elite category of bigs in NBL25 after leading the Brisbane Bullets to an 111-104 win at the NBL Blitz over Melbourne United.

Harrison is 113 games into his NBL career and is fresh off the best season of that journey so far in NBL24 ahead of a dominant NBL1 North campaign at the Southern Districts Spartans.

Knowing he has the full faith of coach Justin Schueller and with his body allowing him to show what he's capable of, his presence at both ends of the floor was again a standout as the Bullets beat United by seven points on Tuesday night on the Gold Coast.

Harrison finished with 21 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and two blocks on 7/12 shooting from the field and 7/10 at the foul line to ensure he picked up the slack with Brisbane not having Next Star Rocco Zikarsky.

It continued the strong pre-season for the Bullets as they knocked off last season's runners-up even with Melbourne minus Chris Goulding and Matthew Dellavedova, and with Marcus Lee playing less than 13 minutes with foul trouble.

Brisbane already played four pre-season games prior to the Blitz ahead of beating the Tasmania JackJumpers on Saturday before taking on the other Grand Final team of NBL24.

The offence on show was impressive from the Bullets as they put up 30 points apiece in the first two quarters to go into half-time leading 60-49, and to turn that into an eventual seven-point victory.

The Bullets shot 50 per cent from the floor to go with a monstrous 36/48 at the foul line, and while Harrison starred, he was far from a one man show.

Deng Adel looks ready to shine with another 19 points, six rebounds and three assists while the signs from Casey Prather continue to be good with the three-time champion finishing with 17 points, three boards, three steals and two assists in 21 minutes.

Keandre Cook also had 15 points and four rebounds on 12/14 at the foul line.

Melbourne did have 19 turnovers which offset going 52 per cent from the floor with Ian Clark top-scoring with 23 points.

Jack White added 17 points and 13 rebounds, Shea Ili 19 points and six assists, Joel Foxwell nine points and two assists, and Rob Loe eight points and four rebounds.

The Bullets now have until Saturday to finish their Blitz campaign against the Cairns Taipans while United finish up against the Illawarra Hawks on Thursday.
