The best of all-time: SuperCoach NBL Classic

Andrew Gaze's staggering 28,378 SuperCoach points across 22 NBL seasons cement him as the competition's undisputed SuperGOAT.

Rugby League's SuperCoach NRL anointed retired Brisbane Broncos and Queensland State of Origin forward Corey Parker "SuperCoach God" for his 1,328 on-field points in 347 career games (not bad).

But Parker, now a TV personality, doesn't even come close to seven-time NBL MVP Andrew Gaze for pure SuperCoach dominance.

Gaze, now 61, racked up 28,378 SuperCoach points in his 22 seasons, a whopping 7,448 more than former Australian Boomers teammate Mark Bradtke, with 20,930 in 20 seasons, in second.

Parker, 44, is dubbed SuperCoach God, but Gaze is the SuperGOAT.

Twelve of the Top 50 (below) have a designated "FLOOR" next to their names because the league's first five years' statistics were ropey at best, and each played before 1984 and after.

Regardless, none still wouldn't touch the SuperGOAT.

Gaze's career average of 46.4 in 611 games would make him SuperCoach NBL's most expensive player right now at $481,578.

Six-time MVP Bryce Cotton ($473,900) tops the list for the Adelaide 36ers ahead of NBL27.

Gaze's 1987 season with the Melbourne Tigers is untouchable. On the floor, he averaged 44 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 5.8 assists, pushing his SuperCoach NBL points to 63.2 per game and a "bargain" price of $656,000!

Gaze averaged more than 50 SuperCoach points in nine of his 22 seasons, and 49 three times. His lowest season average came in his last season, 2004-05, at 28.3 — still well and truly within the Top 20 SuperCoach NBL Classic NBL27 players.

There are only two active players in the All-Time Top 50: Cotton is 26th (11,221 points), and Melbourne United shooting guard Chris Goulding ($188,900) has 10,208 points in 32nd.

Cotton's 40-minute career average is 37.5 SuperCoach points; per 48 minutes, it would be 45.0, -1.4 vs Gaze.

There's a reason they have 13 MVPs between them, but only one is the undisputed SuperGOAT, and that's Andrew Barry Casson Gaze AM.
