DoorDash Delivers with NBL
The Hungry Jack’s National Basketball League (NBL) is delighted to announce DoorDash as its official on-demand delivery partner.
DoorDash will sponsor the NBL Next Stars program, NBL Next Stars program delivered by DoorDash, which has produced four NBA players since its inception in 2018 including Josh Giddey, LaMelo Ball and RJ Hampton.
“It is a tremendous endorsement of the NBL’s strength, growth and direction to have an established brand like DoorDash join our family,” Hungry Jack’s NBL Owner and Executive Chairman Larry Kestelman said.
“DoorDash is a trusted global brand and has strong links with the NBA, so it is only right they partner with the NBL Next Stars program which continues to produce NBA players.”
This season’s pool of Next Stars is the most diverse in NBL history and includes Mojave King (Adelaide), Tom Digbeu (Brisbane), Justinian Jessup (Illawarra), Ariel Hukporti (Melbourne), Ousmane Dieng (New Zealand), Makur Maker (Sydney) and Nikita Mikhailovskii (Tasmania).
“We look forward to this being the start of a long and successful partnership. There has never been a better time to be a part of the NBL with the league to go to the next level when the season begins on December 3,” Kestelman said.
“We are thrilled to add Australia’s much-loved National Basketball League to our sponsorship portfolio," Rebecca Burrows, General Manager of DoorDash Australia, said.
"Basketball is in our blood here at DoorDash, and as participation increases in Australia after the Boomers victory in Tokyo, we felt it was the perfect opportunity to join the league, connect with fans and prove that DoorDash is the premier delivery partner for every basketball occasion, on and off the court.”
To celebrate the launch of the partnership, DoorDash are offering NBL fans 25% off their orders on DoorDash all week, by using the code TIPOFF* at checkout.
