By the Numbers: Day 6 (Summer League 2023)

Friday, July 14, 2023
It was another big day for the Australian and NBL contingent at the NBA's Summer League on Thursday.
Ousmane Dieng was the star of day six of Summer League action, as the former Breakers Next Star paired up with Chet Holmgren to lead Oklahoma City to an 11-point win over Indiana.
Dieng has been a consistently solid performer through both the California Classic and the Las Vegas Summer League this pre-season, but took his game to a new level in his 22-point showing against the Pacers.
The 20-year-old Frenchman hit nine of his 11 shots on the night – including three of four threes – and also added nine rebounds and six assists.

Mojave King played 16 minutes off the bench for the Pacers in the defeat, and added seven points, five rebounds and two assists.
Outside of Dieng’s masterclass for the Thunder, it was a quiet day for current and former NBL talent in Las Vegas.
Former South East Melbourne guard Keifer Sykes had six points, three assists and a pair of steals for Detroit against Toronto, while DJ Hogg remained rooted to the bench in the loss for the Raptors.
Both Jaylin Galloway and Sam Waardenburg registered DNPs for Minnesota, as the latter continues to contend with a minor knee problem.
Former Kings Next Star Brian Bowen II registered 13 minutes for the Timberwolves as they fell to Atlanta by six points. He scored seven points.
After impressing earlier in the tournament, Brady Manek went unused for the Hawks in the victory.
Kai Sotto is still also waiting for his Summer League debut, as he once again remained an unused member of Orlando’s squad in the Magic’s loss to the Knicks.
