Adelaide: Franks 'On His Way'

Adelaide 36ers coach C.J Bruton has provided the strongest indication yet that star import Robert Franks will return for NBL23.

Rumours had been swirling that Franks was considering lucrative offers in Europe, but Bruton said the 25-year-old would line up in a 36ers jersey. 

"He’s on his way here. I know there was rumble and talk about all these different things..as far as I know he’s on his way here," Bruton said on ESPN's Ball and the Real World Podcast. 

Franks was a standout in his first season with the Brisbane Bullets, before his move to Adelaide was announced in June.

He averaged 18 points in 27 games in NBL22, winning the Bullets' Leroy Loggins Most Valuable Player award.
