Montrezl Harrell is officially headed to the NBL.

NBA Sixth Man of the Year award winner Montrezl Harrell will officially make his move to the NBL, after signing on with the 36ers as a Nominated Replacement Player, in place of import Jarell Martin.

The 6'7 power forward was awarded Sixth Man of the Year in 2020 while playing for the Los Angeles Clippers, and had 549 games with the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers, Washington Wizards, Charlotte Hornets, and the Philadelphia 76ers.

“Montrezl will bring that professionalism with a lot of years in the NBA and his competitiveness is great, and he will bring that to the organisation,” head coach Mike Wells said.

“He ticked a lot of boxes of what we wanted to add to our group.”

Montrezl will join the power trio of Dejan Vasiljevic, Kendric Davis, and Isaac Humphries at HoopsFest in Round 1 of the Hungry Jack's NBL Season.
