Makuach Maluach

Having lit up the NBL1 North in 2022, earned his first opportunity in the NBL at Melbourne United and now is entering a third season at Sydney Kings NBL26.

Grew up in Sydney and spent four years at the University of New Mexico and in 121 matches with the Lobos, averaged 10.9 points and 4.0 rebounds.

Started his professional career with Kouvot in Finland before joining the inaugural NBL1 North season of the Darwin Salties.

Along with delivering one of the most remarkable dunks in the open floor, was instrumental in leading the Salties into the playoffs before joining Melbourne United for NBL23.

Playing with the Salties again in 2023 ahead of returning home to join the Kings and in 21 games in NBL24, had 4.2 points and 1.4 rebounds in 10.1 minutes.

That led to a third season with the Salties for 20.8 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists on 46 per cent three-point shooting leading into a second season at the Kings which was the best of his NBL career to date with 3.7 points in 11.6 minutes before a strong NBL1 North campaign at the Mackay Meteors.
