Webster “looking good” to return

Perth head coach John Rillie has revealed Tai Webster is likely to return from injury against Melbourne United on Friday.

Perth Wildcats are likely to welcome back guard Tai Webster for Friday night’s blockbuster meeting with Melbourne United.

The guard suffered a lower leg injury in the Wildcats’ season opener and hasn’t played since.

Assuming he can clear his final fitness sessions, head coach John Rillie is optimistic Webster will be back in action on Friday night.

"It's looking good," Rillie told Channel 9 News.

"Tai's hit the practice court this week, so as long as he gets through the next couple of sessions, he should be suiting up for us on Friday."

Perth and Melbourne clash at 9:30pm AEDT on Friday night live on ESPN via Kayo Sports.
