When Ousmane Dieng and Jack White make their NBA debuts this season, the number of guys to make the Association via the NBL will climb to 40. Forty!

That’s a massive number and, remarkably, when that happens an enormous 40 per cent of those players will have made that leap in just the last few years. Yep, 16 guys will have joined the club since Mitch Creek stepped out for Brooklyn in January 2019, including Jae’Sean Tate, LaMelo Ball and Josh Giddey.

But who was the first player to forge that path? And who will be next?
