The Hungry Jack’s NBL is pleased to announce the new NBL Voice App that will allow fans to enjoy the upcoming 2020/21 NBL Season in a fun and engaging way.
Created by leading technology company CogniVocal, the NBL Voice App uses voice and natural language to give fans access to NBL content and information easier, faster and more conveniently.
Available now on Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, the NBL Voice App will allow fans to ask a range of questions like:
"When is South East Melbourne Phoenix playing the Sydney Kings?"
"When are the Perth Wildcats playing at home?"
"Who is playing this week?" or "Who is playing on Friday?"
"What position are Adelaide on the ladder?"
Other functions available through Amazon Alexa include being able to listen to live radio streams of games, listen to the latest NBL podcasts, receive game notifications and emails with ticketing information.
NBL Commissioner Jeremy Loeliger said: “As a league committed to delivering a great fan experience, we are always looking for new and exciting ways to engage with our fans.
“The NBL Voice App unlocks a whole new world of possibilities for our fans to get all the latest NBL schedules, information and more in a way they never have before.
“We thank CogniVocal for the terrific work they have done in getting the NBL Voice App up and running in time for the new season which tips off on January 10.”
CogniVocal CMO André Alcantara said: "Given the unprecedented nature of the pandemic and the profound changes, companies such as the NBL are innovating and thinking differently about what the consumer in the next normal will think, feel, say, and do.
“CogniVocal is applying its expertise in consumer engagement and voice AI to strengthen bonds with fans. NBL fans can enable the voice app on their mobile phones or smart devices.
“In a world of uncertainty, where everything is adapting and changing, fans will have access to game schedules through the NBL Voice App as soon as they are confirmed."
