Of course, one of the key factors putting together your roster is salary cap management.

Today, we're looking at the players who are going to take the biggest chunk out of your $2 million across each team ... they may be expensive, but your premium selections, the proven performers, are the guys that can make or break your season.

But before we start, here's a little guide to how the pricing system has changed, compared to the previous NBL Fantasy setup.

Pricing changes

A new salary cap ($2 million) means a new pricing system, and we’ve made some subtle changes to help you get the most out of the game, with the help of NewsCorp and The Basketball Blokes

- Prices are based on average points per game from previous season, rather than a player’s finishing price – a more accurate representation of season-long performance.
- Players that played in the NBL in the last two years and have returned, ie. Matthew Dellavedova, will be priced based on past performance. Exceptions to that rule, ie. Jacob Wiley, who last played in the NBL in 2018-2019, will be priced per new players to the competition.
- Based on past performance, we’ve made it a little harder to get your hands on imports, but increased the incentive and upside for college players and Next Stars – this provides a huge advantage for those who can identify the most talented young guns.
- Player values will be adjusted for the first time after they have played three games.

With that in mind, let's take a look at the most expensive options from each team, alongside their NBL23 SuperCoach averages.
