“Spalding is an iconic and famous brand in basketball, and we are delighted to have them return to our competition.”

Spalding basketballs will once again be bounced, passed, and shot around the Hungry Jack’s National Basketball League (NBL), with the iconic basketball brand continuing its association with the game for multiple years.

As the League’s official game ball, Spalding will also produce an exciting and extensive range of basketballs for fans to purchase and use to practice and play with.

“Spalding is an iconic and famous brand in basketball, and we are delighted to have them return to our competition,” NBL CEO David Stevenson said.

“As the second-best league in the world, our players expect and demand the highest quality basketballs that enable them to perform at their peak, and Spalding provides the perfect tool for their trade.

“Along with the high-performance element and what we see in our League, more Spalding basketballs will be bounced, dribbled and shot on community courts around the country as we bring the partnership to life beyond stadiums and into backyards and outdoor courts.

“Chris Lambert and the team at Spalding have been fantastic partners since joining the competition and we look forward to more fruitful years ahead.”

“Spalding is delighted to be extending our partnership with the NBL. It’s an exciting time to be deeply involved with basketball in Australia. We are looking forward to bringing new products to the game and the fans as the League continues to grow,” Spalding Managing Director Chris Lambert said.

The 2023/24 Hungry Jack’s NBL Season begins on Thursday, September 28, when Melbourne United hosts the South East Melbourne Phoenix at John Cain Arena.
