REPORT: Taipans sign Kiwi wing

The Cairns Taipans' revamp has continued with the club reportedly signing a New Zealand Tall Black for the Hungry Jack's NBL27 Season.

According to ESPN's Olgun Uluc, Walter Brown has signed a one-year deal with the Snakes.

The 6'5 Kiwi wing is coming off his senior year at UNLV in the United States, where he averaged 3.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game while shooting 43.7 field goal from the field.

Prior to his lone season in the US, Brown was a development player for the Tasmania JackJumpers for three seasons, including being part of the club's historic championship in NBL24.

Brown joins Jack McVeigh, Keanu Pinder, Jaylon Brown, Shaun Bruce, Sunday Dech, Luke Paul, Reyne Smith, Kyrin Galloway, Jonah Bolden, Lloyd McVeigh, and Luca Yates on Adam Forde's side for this season.
