Norton Ruled Out for Five Weeks

The Perth Wildcats have revealed guard Mitch Norton will remain sidelined for up to five weeks, as he continues to recover from a pre-season knee injury.
 
While initial scans cleared Norton of structural damage, Wildcats medical staff have opted to take a cautious approach with the two-time championship-winning point guard.
 
Norton hyperextended his right knee at a training session earlier this month and experienced bone bruising.

Perth's season begins on Friday night against the Adelaide 36ers at RAC Arena. Tip-off is at 9:30pm AEDT and the game will be broadcast live on ESPN via Kayo and Foxtel.
