No injury concern for Dellavedova

Melbourne United star Matthew Dellavedova has squashed any injury concern after he couldn’t feel his fingers after a hit in last night’s Semi-Final game one victory against the Tasmania JackJumpers.
Dellavedova got hit in the elbow late in the last quarter which resulted in him shooting two free throws left-handed. He air balled both shots and was subbed out of the game.
The All-NBL Second Team member has confirmed there is no cause for concern, however, and he will be a starter for tomorrow night’s game two.
“I got hit behind the elbow, couldn’t feel my fingers for a second. It was a couple of minutes, but I am perfectly fine now,” Dellavedova said.
As for the air balls, Dellavedova joked he is ready to cop “a bit of crap” from his teammates.
“I threw it up a couple of times beforehand and I thought it was going to be good, but it was way short,” he said.
United coach Dean Vickerman praised Dellavedova for setting the tone on defence in Melbourne’s 74-63 win.
The series heads to Tasmania on Saturday night where United will look to advance to the Grand Final, while the JackJumpers fight to force a decisive game three.
Tip-off for game two is 8:00pm AEST Saturday and it will be broadcast on ESPN via Foxtel and Kayo Freebies.
