The fresh voices will enhance the game coverage, with new production partner JAM TV set to deliver a more engaging and dynamic viewing experience.
After a successful AFL career, Montagna burst onto the broadcasting scene as a premier caller. Phillips is one of Australia’s greatest ever basketballers, having won two WNBA championships and making the WNBL All-Star Five three times, while O’Hea is a former captain of the Australian Opals and Creek a current star of the competition for the South East Melbourne Phoenix.
Other new voices include Adam Gibson, Alister Nicholson, Anneli Maley, Bec Cole, Brett Maher and Joel Peterson.
Andrew Gaze, Lanard Copeland, Corey Williams, Peter Hooley, Shane Heal, Damian Martin, Jenni Screen, Liam Santamaria, Brad Rosen, Derek Rucker, Damon Lowery, John Casey, Neroli Meadows, Matt Russell, Jo Healy, Jack Heverin and Drew Jones will all return.
The NBL season tips-off on Saturday when the South East Melbourne Phoenix face the Tasmania JackJumpers at 6pm AEST and the Illawarra Hawks battle the Sydney Kings at 8pm AEST.
Every game of the season will be broadcast live on ESPN via Kayo and Foxtel, while the Sunday games will be simulcast on 10 Peach and 10play.
