NBLxNBL1 Wrap (March 29): Bullets Pair Dominate in North Clash

With NBL1 conferences across the country, NBL players are front and centre suiting up for various teams with all the action live and free to watch on the NBL1 App and NBL1.com.au.

An exciting battle of NBL talent was the pick of the clashes in the NBL1 North over the weekend, as Brisbane’s Andrew White III and Lual Diing led the Northside Wizards to a four-point victory over Lachie Dent’s Brisbane Capitals.

Diing and White starred for the victorious away side. White dropped a remarkable 49 points with seven rebounds, while Diing was a monster with 19 points and 20 boards.

Perth’s Kyle Zunic also dropped 22 points for the Wizards, while Dent finished the game with an impressive 12 points and 14 assists.

Isaac White also dominated for the Mackay Meteors, and was named as NBL1 North's Foot Locker Player of the Week thanks to his 40 points, seven rebounds and nine assists against Rockhampton.

Anthony Drmic and Mitch McCarron rekindled their on-court partnership – this time for the West Adelaide Bearcats – in NBL1 Central and were both impressive in their side’s win over Woodville.

The pair each flirted with a triple-double, with Drmic doing the most damage on the scoreboard with 24 points, nine boards and six assists, while McCarron chipped in with 16 points, 10 boards and eight assists.

Illawarra’s Harry Morris was impressive ahead of announcing a new contract with the Hawks’ NBL side in NBL1 East competition.

The NBL1 Hawks split their double-header with one win and one loss, with Morris dropping 19 points in the defeat to the Basketball Australia Centre of Excellence.

After having his team option with the South East Melbourne Phoenix declined, Junior Madut put in a strong performance for Norths Bears in NBL1 East and registered 25 points.

Jaylin and Kyrin Galloway have once again joined forces in the NBL off-season – this time with the Ipswich Force and Nathan Sobey – and picked up from where they left off last season.

The pair combined for 50 points in their side’s win over Red City.

NBL1 West and NBL1 South both start this coming weekend.
