The Adelaide 36ers NBL1 stars were double-double heavy over the weekend, with three players putting up strong individual numbers.

Veteran Mitch McCarron was the pick of the bunch and finished on the verge of a triple-double with 10 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists in West Adelaide's over the North Adelaide Rockets.

Development player Keanu Rasmussen scored 16 points, 10 rebounds and three assists against Melbourne United’s Malith Machar and the Forestville Eagles. Machar recorded eight points and 12 rebounds in what was a narrow win for Machar's Eagles.

South Adelaide's Alex Starling recorded 16 points, 12 rebounds and two assists in his side's three-point win over the Central Districts Lions

NBL1 North was packed with action over the weekend. Nathan Sobey recorded a total of 47 points over the weekend across two games. He recorded 24 points, four rebounds and two assists over Jason Cadee’s Gold Coast Rollers.

Cadee hit back with 21 points, four rebounds and 12 assists against Sobey's Ipswich Force to lead his side to a five-point win.

Brisbane's Isaac White provided 26 points for the Mackay Meteors, he also recorded seven rebounds and six assists in his side's hard-fought one-point loss to Rockhampton..

Southern Districts Spartans’ Akoldah Gak recorded a double-double over Biwali Bayles’ North Gold Coast Seahawks. He scored 18 points, 11 rebounds and three assists.

Illawarra Hawks DP Bayles had a double-header for the Seahawks. In Game 1 over USC Rip City, he recorded 17 points, seven rebounds and six assists.

USC Rip City’s Matt Kenyon recorded six points, nine rebounds and three assists. Whilst Kouat Noi scored a massive 42 points, seven rebounds and two assists in the same game.

NBL1 South saw Cairns’ Lat Mayen record a double-double for the Bendigo Braves. He recorded 16 points, 11 rebounds and two assists over the Melbourne Tigers.

He followed that with another double-double over Zac Triplett’s Keilor Thunder. Triplett scored 15 points, five rebounds and two assists. Before that, Triplett starred against the Diamond Valley Eagles with 29 points, eight rebounds and six assists.

Angus Glover led the Eltham Wildcats over the weekend without NBL1 teammate Owen Foxwell. In Game 1 he Glover recorded 28 points, five rebounds and one assist against the ladder-leading Knox Raiders

It wasn't enought though as the Raiders powerted home to a big win, led largely by Illawarra Hawk Mason Peatling's 14 points, 12 rebounds and three assists.
