After breaking out late last season with the Cairns Taipans, Ben Ayre has maintained his momentum in NBL1 North with the Marlins. He had 43 points, seven rebounds, five assists and two steals against USC on the weekend.

Fresh off signing a new development player deal with the South East Melbourne Phoenix, Owen Foxwell gave Phoenix fans a hint of his potential with 33 points and five rebounds for Eltham against Mount Gambier.

Marshall Nelson continues to showcase himself to NBL teams with a 39-point performance against Perth, including this insane eight-point burst in overtime.
