Adelaide 36ers

The Adelaide 36ers have announced that both Kai Sotto (knee soreness) and Sunday Dech (quadricep) will miss their Round 2 game against Tasmania on Thursday night.

Adelaide will have Emmanuel Malou back in the lineup after he missed Round 1 with a knee injury.

Development Player Lachlan Olbrich will be active for the Sixers.

 

Melbourne United

Chris Goulding's availability going into Throwdown XIII will go down to the wire with the Boomers bronze medallist subject to a fitness test prior to Sunday's game against the S.E Melbourne Phoenix.

Goulding missed United's Round 1 game with a hamstring injury.

David Barlow will return to the lineup with Jack White back in full training and scheduled to make his return to the court in Round 3.

 

New Zealand Breakers

After missing Round 1 while recovering from COVID, Yanni Wetzell will suit up for the Breakers for the first time in NBL22 against his former team the South East Melbourne Phoenix.

Import guard Jeremiah Martin suffered an ankle injury in training on Thursday and will be subject to a fitness test on Friday.

 

Sydney Kings

The Sydney Kings have revealed that guard Jaylen Adams will miss their Freeway Series game against the Illawarra Hawks after spraining his ankle in training. No timeframe has been provided for his potential return to action.

Big man Jordan Hunter will suit up for the first time this season, returning from an injury to his finger that was suffered in preseason.

DP Jaylin Galloway will be active for the Kings with Adams out.

 

South East Melbourne Phoenix

Fans of the Phoenix will need to wait for import Devin Thomas to make his debut for the Club with their new recruit still in COVID-19 protocols after arriving in the country on the same flight as an Omicron case.

Development Player Tristan Forsyth will be active as a replacement.

 

Tasmania JackJumpers

Thursday night will see the debut of Next Star Nikita Mikhailovskii who missed the opening game with a foot injury.
