Adelaide 36ers star Jack McVeigh dominated for North Adelaide in NBL1 Central with 42 points and 10 rebounds against Forestville while teammate Sunday Dech chipped in with eight points, four rebounds and six assists in the big win.

In NBL1 South, Kilsyth welcomed Illawarra’s Deng Deng to the fold against Mount Gambier while Perth’s Wani Swaka Lo Buluk debuted for Albury Wodonga in the Bandits’ double-header weekend. 

After a quiet game against Bendigo on Friday night, the 20-year-old soon found his groove on Saturday night with 19 points and nine rebounds in the Bandits’ win over Dandenong. 

Even though there were only two men’s games in NBL1 North, the NBL stars still came to play. 

Ipswich’s Isaac White dominated with 35 points, eight rebounds and four assists in the Force’s three-point win over Brisbane while Lamar Patterson helped the Southern Districts to a big win over Sunshine Coast with 15 points, six boards and 10 assists.
