In the west, Scott Machado had another big weekend for Mandurah.
Not only did he stuff the stat sheet with 12 points, seven rebounds and 13 assists against Lakeside but he also took home the Golden Hands award (most assists this season) and was named in the NBL1 West All First team at the NBL1 West Awards night on Saturday.
Andrew Ferguson also had success on the night, being named the NBL1 West Runner Up MVP behind former Perth Wildcat Nic Pozoglou.
Ferguson notched up yet another double-double for Perry Lakes on the weekend to shore up their spot at the top of the table.
In NBL1 Central, Jack McVeigh guided North Adelaide into the finals with two big performances against the Eastern Mavericks and Southern Tigers.
For free agent Alex Mudronja and Adelaide 36er Owen Hulland, it was their last appearance for South Adelaide this season, with the Panthers missing out on finals, however they still made important contributions against Sturt.
One game of NBL1 South went ahead on Saturday night, with Wani Swaka Lo Buluk and Lochlan Hutchison suiting up for Albury Wodonga.
The Sydney Kings duo finished with 10 and eight points against Bendigo, respectively.
